Anna has worked in the screen industry in Aotearoa New Zealand for over 25 years. Beginning as a Production Manager across TV commercials, stills photography and short film in Auckland — in the era before digital — she built a deep foundation in scheduling, budgeting, vendor relationships, and the human logistics of making things happen under pressure.
Her move to art department as Coordinator and Manager was a natural evolution, bringing two decades of production management discipline to the creative environment. Anna sits between the Production Designer and the wider department — the connective tissue that turns a group of talented individuals into a functioning unit.
On productions including Avatar: Fire and Ash, Avatar: The Way of Water, Ghost in the Shell, and Time Bandits, Anna has provided the operational infrastructure that lets creative work happen at scale. She manages the relationships that hold an art department together.
